managing all departments in a fast growing suburban city

Risk management, grant
writing and administration, arbitration and mediation issues, all
human resource and financial functions, and community/intercommunity
relations; facilitated and chaired all city meetings.

Managed a full time
administrative and public works staff with an operating budget in
excess of $1,200,000.

Authored and managed
two successful State of Minnesota Economic Development proposals
generating over $600,000 in Grant funds.

Attracted 7 new
commercial/industrial business, three new corporate headquarters,
and the creation of a successful Industrial Park to assure a strong
future tax base.

During elected terms,
the City bond rating improved three steps to A- and overall city
budget achieved an operating surplus every year.
