As a General Manager and
Executive Director:
Have successfully performed general
management functions of running a $6 million software company and $2
million Professional Association including:
Operations and administration;
strategic planning; sales, marketing, and new business development;
all financial and human resource functions; banking, insurance
carriers, and legal partner relationships; inter-member professional
relationships; sourcing, purchasing, and
inventory control; business and
operational plans; development of profit improvement programs;
cost-containment programs; information systems and networking;
product acquisition and materials management and distribution;
capital equipment acquisition; facilities management; subcontractor
relationships; vendor selection and compliance issues; negotiation
of lease, purchasing, and financial agreements; establishing and
managing corporate alliances; corporate records management; staff hiring, training, motivation,
and performance reviews. Managed staffs of up to 20 employees.
As
a Sales Manager:
Responsible for guiding the growth of a $90 million sales
region, including:
Strategic planning; financial forecasting; sales, marketing, and
promotion; selection and management of manufacturers
representatives; development, bidding, and negotiation of contract
proposals and customer contract agreements; set-up and staffing of
national trade shows; and technical customer support.
