MasterGraphics is a
CAD software VAR based in Madison, WI, specializing in the manufacturing
market. Quannon CAD Systems, a 20 year old Minnetonka, MN company
was acquired by MasterGraphics in 2005.
General Manager

Implemented new management practices,
designed and initiated a new sales and marketing strategy, and
improved sales forecasting and internal communication systems.
Result was to take a stagnant $2,500,000 company to over $5,500,000
in revenues, adding $500,000 in annual profits within 3 years.

Developed and implemented a new
training and certification program resulting in increasing training
revenues from $100,000 to over $350,000 annually (a 250% increase.)
The new program also allowed us to acquire and maintain a training
contract with the State of Minnesota for 7 years.

Developed a cost-containment programs
to reduce production and administrative costs. Eliminated
unnecessary staff, replaced costly outside printing suppliers with
an internal program, and implemented new policies and procedures.
Savings added over $350,000 annually to the bottom-line.

Redirected company business model
from new/upgrade to a subscription model. Result over 5 years was an
increase from zero to over 40% of total GP generated annually with
revenue and GP becoming less cyclical.
